Progress and a Peruvian Princess

Greetings one and all:
   I must apologize for the delay in getting this newsletter out - I have been literally swamped with obligations for 2 weeks now and still have another week to go before it lets up.  But enough whining -  I wanted to show you how the portrait from the last post is progressing.   As you can see, I have started to flesh it out and develop the volume  - I am just starting to add a few details.  Also notice that I decided to put the big flower in her hair - that was my dilemma on the last post.  It is still too small, so I will be working on enlarging it, and darkening the background, and making some lost edges while also  adding  more highlights and contrast around the center of interest.  Hopefully by the next post, it will be finished.
