These are not the droids you’re looking for!

SARASOTA, FL (NS/SUA) -
To me the whole issue has now become quite clear. They all want to
keep it focused on some phony Birth Certificate not the Constitutional
issue.
Article 1, Section 8, of the Constitution of the United States refers
to the Law of Nations which guided our founders. Article 2, Section 1,
refers to the concept of ”...natural born Citizen…” which the Law of
Nations defined as “born of citizens of a Nation”. The concept was
well known and the Founders saw no need to footnote every idea.
It has now become patently obvious this current flail has little to do
with Obama per se, but instead is a Progressive stratagem for a fait
accompli – the de facto end of this requirement. This will then open
the door to anyone who can get enough votes!
And I’m sure Arnold Schwarzenegger has thought of this. So called
Republicans have also talked of Marco Rubio and Bobby Jindal as
potential candidates. Unless they meet the qualifications neither of
them should be allowed to run either! The founders had good reasons
for the requirements they set, and I see nothing good coming from them
being ignored!
Our Founders intent was to close the door to Foreigners, or the
children of foreigners, leading this Nation.
This now includes any Mexican whose parents were born in Mexico, and
never Naturalized as it applied to Obama whose father was a Kenyan, or
anyone not born of American citizens! This is not hard to understand,
except for all those who don’t want to understand!
What we are seeing is a potential de facto amending of our founding
document. Imagine how far we might descend if Progressives achieve
this dangerous precedent! The second Amendment, Presidential term
limits, even the concept of citizenship itself could be swept aside,
anyone could be a voter, anyone a candidate; and this once great
Nation would quickly descend to a third world Dictatorship enabled by
the moronic masses and our mendacious media!
- According to Jindal, his mother was already four months pregnant
with him when they arrived from India.
- Rubio is the second son and third child of Cuban exiles Mario Rubio
(1927–2010) and Oria Garcia (born 1931), and was born in Miami,
Florida.
So as far as both Jindal and Rubio the operative question is were
their parents citizens when they were born. This is the nexus of the
whole “Anchor baby” crisis that we need to correct now. That 1868
Amendment XIV was only put in place after the Civil War to protect the
offspring of slaves and it no longer has any practical application
other than another liberal idea to growing their constituency.
We need a Constitutional Convention prior to 2012 to clarify all these
issues. Does this Nation really want another “Anchor Baby” President.
And what about the more basic issue of not even being born here, and
worse of one or both alien parents.
We don’t really know where Obama was born but we do know his father
was NOT an American Citizen. I wonder what the left would have done if
McCain’s father had been a dead Scottish-Irishman, and if McCain had
refused to produce a birth certificate.
If so called conservative republicans don’t start standing up, Obama
will win again in 2012. We are a Nation split 48/52 and the latter
percent is composed of illiterate, urban masses that now unfortunately
control the Presidency!
We better at least control the Candidates!!
If anyone cannot produce a valid American birth certificate showing
they were born of then original or naturalized American citizens, then
they should not be allowed to run for President. And I would say this
should be the case even if the parents had the intent to become
citizens or even later became citizens.
The only requirement is the parents both be U.S. citizens at the time
any future candidate is born. The parents can be native-born, natural-
born, or naturalized; just so long as they have become U.S. citizens
by the time of the birth. We are either going to have a Constitutional
Law or we are not, and exception after exception is a very slippery
slope as the term goes!
It may seem hyperbolic to suggest but we risk the potential of losing
control of this country to a foreign national; and, in fact, we may
already have!
And if Republicans are just being quiet so as to give these guys a
pass then there is no hope for the future legitimacy of the office!
Think I am wrong? Remember what I have said and someday you may say
“Damn he was right”!
