DO YOUR DUTY RATING!
If your customer needs a ladder and you don’t know the Bauer part number, just call us at 800-321-4760 with a description and we will look it up for you. Our first question will probably be “what duty rating do you need?”
The most common duty ratings are Type I, Type IA, and Type IAA. You will often hear these referred to as 250 lb, 300 lb, and 375 lb rated products. When you ask your customer what rating they need, remember to remind them that the ladder must support the user and any tools and building materials they plan to take up the ladder with them. Using a ladder that is not sufficiently rated for the job can result in ladder failure and injuries.
PAPER OR PLASTIC?
Neither! Bauer planks and stages have no plastic parts on them. Our extruded aluminum handles make moving your planks and stages easier. When assembling, the handles interlock for added stability.
