It may seem that the LTL carrier taking your drop ships is out to deliberately tick off your customers as much as possible by dropping, crushing, scuffing, cracking, and losing their ladders. Please tell your customers that when freight carriers attempt to deliver damaged ladders, they should refuse delivery and notify you that they want a replacement sent to them. Lost shipments should be reported to Bauer as soon as possible. Please call 800-321-4760.
Bauer Corporation will pursue the freight claim or loss report and credit you, the distributor. All you have to do is order the replacement ladder for your customer and we will ship it as soon as it is available. Stock items ship within three days of receipt of order. If hidden damage is discovered after the freight has been delivered, Bauer will gladly provide contact information and PRO numbers so your customer may file a freight claim and recover their losses.
