PROBLEMS WITH ASTHMA ATTACK

I am 40 years anddiscovered that i am asthmatic at the age of 34. at
first, the doctor and nurses who consulted me, prescribed the tablets,
then the salbutamol syrup to easy the breathing. but in 2008, things
changed and was given the spray. my problem is that i dont like the
spray because after having sprayed, i become drowsed and feel like
drunk. so i dont like it and dont want to use it. what else can i use
if i have an attack other than the spray? i know the syrup and tablets
no longer work, but with the spray, Oh! no. im prsy to God to forbid
this. can anyone assist me
