I don't know if you know it or not, but your body needs fat! Omega-3
Fatty acid for example is good for your body! The best source of
Omega-3 is fish or cvold pressed flax oil. Unfortunately, when you heat
Omega -# fatty acids, they break down, so believe it or not, the
Japanese have it right! Raw or pickled fish is the "nutritionally" best
way to eat fish! I hope you like sushi! The other way is as I
mentioned, cold pressed flax oil or flavored purified fish oil. You
need a good multivitamin as well along with calcium. Protein needs to
be at least 1 gram of protein per Kg (2.2 pounds) of body mass with an
ABSOLUTE minimum of 65 grams of protein per day, no matter what you
weigh! Again, this is the minimum! Got your carbs from items like rice,
and mix in some beans while you're at it! Beans and rice contain high
levels of Lycopine! Your body can't make this Amino Acid, so you need
to add it to your diet! Don't worry too much about calorie count,
because if your physical activitry is high, you need a minimum amount
to keep from flaking out! Here is a handy calorie burn calculator, the
URL is
http://www.wvda.org/calcs/sport.html . Thisd will help you keep
your caloric intake balanced with your output. It's simple really, if
you want to lose weight, up the output through more physical activity.
If you want to gain, up the calories above what you burn through daily
activity, see? Simple! Other things you can do to increase your energy
levels, add ATP (Adeno-Tri-Phosphatre to your diet! I though the
weightlifters were full of ....., but apparently it's true! ATP drives
your cellular metabolism through Glycolosis and provides your body with
energy. More ATP= More ENERGY or Glucose +ATP=Energy. The other thing
is HYDRATE! If you get dehydrated, your body doesn't work as
efficiently. Your kidneys can be damaged as well, creating a host of
problems! Has your brain hit the saturation point yet? Well enough for
now! See ya next time!
