Toastmasters Tomorrow

Hi Toastmasters,

 

Tomorrow we have the following speakers:

Tommy Tripplet, Bob Shawgo, and Travis Ross

 

Evaluators will be determined at the meeting.

 

For the new members who have not paid, please bring your check tomorrow to the meeting.  The amount is  $20 one time and $12 prorated right now and $5 dollars for the club which totals $37.  I am not sure who the checks are made out to.  Mike, do you recall?   We will determine this at the meeting if it is not corrected before then. 

 

If everyone pays, then if my math is correct then we will have 13 members.  Amazing. 

 

I will bring tomorrow a schedule that will take us through the month of May.  This will provide the roles for all of us.  Please review the roles and if you have any questions or concerns please let me know.  I want to make sure we all meet our personal goals, and club goals.

Since we don't have access to the bank account right now the best thing to do would to get a credit card number from the new members so we can sign them up online. 

Alternatively we could get a check written to Toastmasters International and mail in the application (the check should not include the club portion of the dues, though) or they could give you cash or a check written to you and you could use your credit card to sign them up online.

Alternatively you could have them make out the check to Toastmasters International and mail in their application. Checks to TI should NOT include the club dues because they don't handle the club portion of the dues.

You won't receive your books until payment is received by Toastmasters International.  I struggled trying to find the outline on the TI website.  Emmy do you know where to look?  I will ask Corrine (I work with her) if she can help.

 

If you are not ready because of no outline, I do not want you to feel compelled to give a speech.  We can postpone it.  I would rather you be ready and prepared.
