We had a great meeting yesterday.
Andy is getting started with his Speeches by Management manual. He told us about the i15 Core project, how they did a design-build that put them 2 years ahead of schedule and because of the recession Utah is getting more "bang for the buck" on the project because of the competitive bidding.
Todd finished his Competent Communicator manual with his 10th speech: Super G's. The super G's are Gratitude and Generosity. He suggested we make a daily list of things we are grateful for, appreciate others and express that appreciation to them, and finally don't play fair in relationships. If you play fair in a relationship, that means you're keeping score. Do more for the other person in the relationship than you may think is "fair."
Tommy Triplett did his ice breaker again. He told us about himself and about some of his entrepreneurial efforts.
We look forward to seeing everyone next week.
Arun is now officially a member! I just processed his application.
Congratulations to Todd for finishing his Competent Communicator!
Speaking next week:
Steven, Arun, Andy.
