We had a great meeting yesterday.
We started off with a speech by Steven from. The objective was to re-give a historical speech. Steven chose John F. Kennedy's inaugural address. We have all heard the most famous sentence from that speech, "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country," but the rest of the speech was great as well.
Arun gave his second speech on the myths of Indian independence. The popular version of history known throughout the world and taught in Indian schools isn't the entire truth. Arun told us how other events including the Bretton Woods conference contributed to Indian independence.
Everyone got a chance to do table topics.
Arun won best speech
Mike won best evaluator
Mike's guest Chip Brown won best table topics.
I received my DTM plaque this week -- that gives me license to say "Don't Time Me" or will allow me to "Drone 'Till Midnight."
