BAARRF Pot Lucks?

howdy folks,

it's usually impossible for me to get to big gatherings --- maybe 10
altogether in 20 years, but when i'm living somewhere and there is a
strong rainbow community, the pot lucks provide me with plenty of
quality time feasting and jamming with family (instead of the squares
and tourists i earn my fun tickets from)

when i first moved to austin, the B.eautiful A.ustin A.rea R.egional
R.ainbow F.amily had focus enough to picnic first sundays at the
Sunken Garden in Zilker Park. without breaking out the judgement
stick, either those no longer happen or the person who hipped me to
when they were happening dropped out.

whatever the reason, where are you all now? is anything happening
other than the semi-private parties thrown around town through the
year? not that they aren't fun, they just aren't the same and more
often than not, they're too exclusively commercial for my tastes.
either there's no money exchanged or i want a chance at a piece of the
action.

woodie? any other old friends hiding out here? call me please asap at

can call back and do it P2P so i can refuse charges and get the number
(great trick for poor people needing to call people only slightly less
poor long distance. i've got the any distance plan dirt cheap from
AT&T --- extra discount for being disabled)
