Dear Friends,
This Saturday, June 18th, Plano voters will make the important decision of who will serve as their City Council member.
The differences between the candidates are clear. Do we want to as Benjamin Franklin said "act in haste and repent at leisure"? We need to help ourselves in a well planned manner by attracting new businesses, encouraging economic development, and thus creating new jobs!
As a former corporate officer of two highly successful publicly traded companies profiled in the Wall Street Journal, I understand that cutting costs is an important lever of profitability, but doing so (or even making such proposals) without understanding the consequences will be disastrous.
If you agree that aggressive economic development coupled with a well planned fiscal approach is the answer for Plano, then I will be honored to have your vote on Saturday, June 18th.
This economy requires a City Council member who means business and that’s Pat Gallagher.
