Job Title : Informatica/ETL Developer 

Location : Chicago, IL

Duration :  6 months contract to hire

Job Description:

•Seeking an ETL Developer  

•The primary responsibilities of this position is to act in the capacity of a solution design specialist and developer for the Informatica platform

•To leverage various components of Informatica to streamline data ingress and egress, in a healthcare environment

•This is not a traditional Informatica/PowerCenter development role

•Rather, this role requires the use of many components of the Informatica platform to build out an ingress/egress solution

Responsibilities:

•Develops strategies for data ingress/egress implementation, including evaluating new data types (HL7, 837, etc…) for ease of integration or egress while adhering to the organization's quality standards

•Evaluate new data sources for adherence to the organization's quality standards and ease of integration. 

•Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

•Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

•Performs a variety of complicated tasks

•Provide consultation on complex projects 

•A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

•Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department

Requirements:

•Overall 5+ years Web Services experience, 3+ with a Data Integration background

•Web Services

•Java, JavaScript

•RESTFul APIs and/or SOAP

•Development for EDI Data Exchange

•Desired, but not necessary: 

oInformatica experience or experience with a similar tool

oData Quality, and more specifically Data Integration Services

oPowerCenter

oB2B, specifically, MFT

•Experience in the following databases: 

oCassandra or No SQL databases

oMS SQL Server DB 2014 or above

oDB2 with legacy applications

oFamiliar with various file types for Healthcare data transfer (XLS, CSV, TXT, XML, HL7, 837, etc…)
