Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Keynote Speaker, Billy Goldfeder, will not be speaking at the TSMA conference. However, Mr. Goldfeder has arranged another speaker in his place, Joe Knitter. Joe Knitter will be speaking on “Commanding the Culture” Leadership Influence from the Firehouse to the Fireground.
Joseph Knitter is a 43+ year veteran of the fire service, retiring in 2022 as Chief for the South Milwaukee (WI) Fire Department, where he served for 37 Years, the last 10 as Fire Chief.
Joe has an AAS Degree in Fire Science, a BS Degree in Fire Service Management, and is a graduate of the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program. In addition, Joe is a Wisconsin-certified Fire Officer II, Fire Instructor II, and Fire Inspector and is certified by the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications as an Incident Safety Officer.
Prior to retirement, Joe also taught fire certification classes for Milwaukee Area Technical College for over 18 years and continues to lecture on various topics throughout the country. Joe also serves as a Representative for the Wisconsin Fire Service Training Office where he is responsible for overseeing the administration of fire service-related practical skill certification exams.
ALSO, If you did not meet the deadline for TSMA Conference registration, You can STILL ATTEND! There will be TSMA Coordinators that will take your monies at the door!
