See the information below regarding the State Farm/NVFC Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program Grant for volunteer fire departments. The application period opened today and will close at 11:59 pm (EST) on June 6th.

Application period June 4-6

 

 

150 volunteer fire departments will be awarded a $10,000 grant to purchase critical equipment.

 

 

The application period for the State Farm® Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program is now open for three days only! Apply by 11:59pm ET on June 6.

 

State Farm and the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) are proud to team up for the Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program to help resource-constrained volunteer fire departments secure needed equipment.

 

Eligible volunteer fire departments can apply for a $10,000 grant to fund needed equipment that enhances responder safety and effectiveness. A total of 150 departments will receive grants.

 

In addition to the grants, the first 2,000 applicants will receive a one-year NVFC membership, courtesy of State Farm. Membership comes with a variety of benefits that support responders and help them be at their best on and off the job. 

 

At least one recipient will be selected from each state with 10 or more eligible applications!

To Be Eligible Departments Must:

 

·    Be over 50 percent volunteer

·    Serve a population of 25,000 or less

·    Have an annual revenue no more than $250,000

·    Be located in the U.S. and legally organized under state law
