Communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills
-Experience developing complex enterprise N-Tier VB.Net or C# web
applications utilizing Visual Studio.Net
-Experience developing complex interactive web applications using ALL of
the following: VB.Net, ASP.Net, HTML, Java Script, ADO.Net
-Experience writing stored procedures and  designing Oracle and/or SQL
Server database(s)
Project Description
-The Keane has various MS Access applications the accomplish functionality
of the office with getting children adopted.
The Adoption Album has already been re-written into and Oracle database,
VB.Net front in to the internet & intranet, with interfaces to the
CONNECTIONS as the basis of the new Adoption System. This facilitates
uniformity of information of the child, demographics, and essential
information and saves countless hours and dollars expended for this crucial
activity.
-Additional enhancements to be accomplished by these positions will consist
of  new functional to comply with new ICPC Provisions, information sharing
with other state ICPC offices, Subsidy & non recurring Adoption expenses,
membership in AAICAMA, links to Putative Father Registry, management
reports & Analytical tools, interfacing with the national AdoptUs
application, audio/video integration and additional data sharing with many
stakeholders.
Role Description
-The Selected candidate will perform the database re-writes, conversion,
application coding, interface/web services programming and reporting
functions.  Approval of this request is necessary to provide the adequate
resources to complete the Adoption System within a timely fashion.  Without
this resource the Adoption System will stall with just the Adoption Album.
Furthermore there will be no resources to maintain the current system and
Adoption will be in danger of a malfunction that could potentially lead to
collapse.
