Candidate will be responsible for overall application systems design, balancing optimization of application access with resource use factors. Knowledgeable in all aspects of designing and constructing .Net systems and developing requirements and design specifications for new and existing applications. Focuses primarily on documenting requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs. Serves as architecture manager and leader in the integration of solutions, construction of applications, development of new business opportunities, and building of relationships with clients. Must be well versed in various architectural patterns.
Requirements:
• Requires 10 years of experience in IT with a minimum of five years in application systems design
• 3 years experience with enterprise content and document management solutions (Interwoven)
• Knowledge of structure markup languages and trends in structured markup
• 5+ years of experience working with .Net Technologies
• 3+ years of experience working with Java Technologies
• Experience with the entire lifecycle of enterprise content management systems adoption including the development process, configuration, and production roll out.
• Deep architectural understanding of the Websphere platform and the Websphere Portal tool.
• Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in systems development in a variety of computing architectures and environments
• Thorough understanding of software development life cycles, development and technology tools, testing methodologies, and requirements gathering
• Must have strong technical expertise in the .Net and J2EE environment, UNIX, Linux, Windows, MQ Series, UML, Tiered architecture, Relational Databases, Web development, and object-oriented methodologies
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required
• Experience with the entire lifecycle of enterprise content management systems adoption including the development process, configuration, and production roll out.
