We made a post on our Personal Facebook Page on Friday that we thought to share with you all as "Finding Gratitude" in Life and Leadership was what we spoke on in Denver at the DynaMAXX Leadership Conference:

"Find Gratitude"

Posted on Friday, June 13th on our Personal Facebook Page

...a treasured Friday thought for all of you!!! “Find Gratitude” ~ as I download pictures right now, this was the last pic that Chris and I took on stage speaking on the topic of "Leadership" in Denver 3 weeks ago!!! Our topic we trained on was "Finding Gratitude" in Life and Leadership!!! …many people ask how Chris Ortiz and I are always so high on life, so spirited and so positive!!! Our answer is ALWAYS the same..."Gratitude" ~ Our life in no way is perfect…but when you find gratitude…true gratitude…it’s not ever about being perfect…it’s about appreciating all the imperfect!!! It’s about loving people for who they are ~ being grateful for what they do and not what they don’t do. It’s about being grateful for every second you have, every breathe you take as God gave you another day. Treasure life, treasure love, treasure your beautiful eyes to see, ears to hear, hands to hold and so much more...all of it can be taken away in a heartbeat. Your glass, my friends, is always, always half full! Never be jealous and never compare your life to others…why? …because each of you are so beautifully blessed in a million different ways!!! Gratitude is a choice that we ALL have EQUALLY. Practice the "attitude of gratitude"...and I sincerely promise you, you can live a life of true and simplistic happiness too. Chris and I closed our speech with a passage that will make you think on all the things we can take for granted daily!!! As I always says, the littlest things we can take for granted are truly the biggest things...what people can take for granted, someone else is praying for!!!

Today before you complain about life - think of someone who passed away and went too early to heaven. ...what they would give to be in your shoes.
Today before you think of saying an unkind word - think of someone who can’t speak. ...what they would give to be in your shoes.
Today before you complain about the taste of your food - think of all the starving people who have nothing to eat. ...what they would give to be in your shoes.
Today before you complain about your children - think of someone who dreams of having children but they are not able to have them. ...what they would give to be in your shoes.
Today before you argue about your dirty house - think of the people who have no home and who are living in the streets. ...what they would give to be in your shoes.
Today before whining about the distance you drive - think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet. ...what they would give to be in your shoes.
Today when you are tired and complain about your job - think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had a job. ...what they would give to be in your shoes.
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - put a smile on your face and thank God you’re alive and still around.

Life is a gift - Live it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it, and Fulfill it.
