Fwd: Easter Hill Country

Cyclists,

this is my favorite ride of the year.  Unfortunately, I will be in the Chihuahuan desert instead of riding through fields of bluebonnets.  There are three days of rides of varying length, with the main (century+) event on Saturday.    Additionally, Easter weekend is toward the end of April this year, so there is a greater chance the weather will be nice and mild.  Those years when Easter falls in March you run the risk of some cold or wet weather blowing through.   One year it rained all day Saturday and then turned to sleet and ice that night.  We woke on Sunday with ice covering the trees and our tent.  But generally this is a GREAT ride.

Just a quick reminder that early registration for the Easter Hill Country ride

in Kerrville TX ends Monday, April 7th.  Early Registration is $45 and onsite

registration is $55.   The ride is Friday April 18th thru Sunday April 20th.
