Hello Cyclists,

It looks, at least from Jimmie's Facebook pix, like we had a pretty good turnout for last week's River Road ramble.  This week, we'll be starting off a little further south.  Here's the
"official" Team Roadkill ride for this weekend.

Saturday, May 31, 2014: Wheels will roll at 8:30 a.m. from the parking lot of the Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Andice.  There are several route distances possible in this area, ranging from 22 to 42 miles.  After the ride, burger aficionados will be given the opportunity to pig out at the Andice General Store.  (If you haven't tried the green chili cheeseburger, you don't know what you're missing).  To get to the church from the Killeen, Fort Hood, Harker Heights area, take 195 south through Florence.  Turn right at the light at FM 970 and drive approximately 7 miles to Andice.  The parking lot will be on your left.  From Copperas Cove, take FM2657 to Briggs.  Take a left on 183 and follow that to FM 970.  Turn left on 970 and go two miles into Andice.  The parking lot will be on your right.

See you there (I hope),
David
