Happy New Year once again... and now, with no further ado, here's the Saturday ride:

Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014:  Wheels will roll at 9 a.m. from Topsey (the intersection of FM580 and FM1113 about 8 miles north of Copperas Cove) for the Topsey triangle.  We'll do this route counterclockwise, going DOWN Dragass Hill, and up Harmon Road to Izoro.  From there, we'll head down 1690 and 2527 back to 580 and eventually back to Topsey.  This is a 28 mile route with, in this direction, more downhill and up (if such a thing is possible). Coffee and carbs at Lil' Tex on Main Street in Copperas Cove at 7:30.

ALSO:  The Megan Babb Memorial/Copperas Cove Classic Bicycle Race is scheduled for Jan. 18.  We need some volunteers to drive lead and follow vehicles.  If you want to help, call the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce at (254)547-7571.
