Hey Y'all --
It looks like winter is going to rear its ugly head again, particularly Friday and Saturday. But just in case we're not rained (or freezing rained) out, we'll meet for a 9:30 a.m. roll out Saturday behind the Brick Oven for the River Road options. At least that route is fairly well protected from the elements. But, if the pavement is wet, or if it's wet AND cold, stay inside and have a nice hot cup of coffee, or a hot chocolate and think of me.
In other news...
There will be a farewell breakfast for our friend and fellow cyclist Shannon Pratt Cleary, who will be leaving the TRK/Team Army/WOW fold for sunny California. The get-together is set for 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the IHOP in Harker Heights. The So-Long Shannon ride will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the WOW. I'd love to tell you where we need to meet for the WOW ride, but, unfortunately, I don't have that info at this posting. Keep an eye out. I'll let you know ASAP.
Where the weather is concerned. Please drive and ride safely. Remember, skinny tires were never intended to provide any semblance of traction on slick roads. Until next time...
