NEW bachata classes// NEW salsa classes

Hi folks,

 

BRAND NEW BACHATA class- an 8 week progressive class, £3 a class starts on Tuesday Feb 2nd 6.30-7.15pm at The Chamber Suite, Commerce buildings, Panmure st, Dundee DD1 1ED see http://salsafamily.netcipia.net for directions.  People can join 1st & 2nd Week only unless already competent at basic steps.

 

Whether you are a total dance beginner or you already dance salsa why not come along & learn Bachata, it's a dance from Dominica Republic.  Bachata music is often played along with Salsa at social salsa/latin events too.  The class will start with the basics then move on to include common turn patterns & moves,it will also include some styling too.  It is also hoped that after completing the Beginners block people will continue onto to the next level after Easter  for a  improvers/ intermediate class.

NEXT week (Jan 26th) is last chance to join the NEW beginners Cuban style salsa class ( leading onto Rueda- cuban wheel dance) - 7.15pm- 8pm every Tue, £4 a class goes to support Street children in Peru.  Venue same as for Bachata ( see above).

 

Due to poor advertising, the first NEW beginners cross body style salsa class at Dundee uni union omn Balfour st( in MONO downstairs) will now start next Thurs 28th Jan 6-7pm ( & not today).  Block of 9 classes will be £25 ( students) & £28 ( non stu), come 5-10 min early to pay & register.  email sara...@gmail.com for more info or to reserve spaces.  Money raised for street in Peru.
