Tayport  is a quiet friendly little town/village with a pretty harbour with stunning views over the Tay Estuary just a few minutes walk from the house.  Dolphins are often spotted down at the harbour at high tide during  the Summer.  Tentsmuir forest and miles of golden beaches where large colonies of seals and other wildlife can often be found, are easily accessible on cycle paths or road.
