Hi folks,

 

 Here is a poster & details, the last Salsa charity event of 2009. 
If anyone can put a poster up in a shop, library, email around work etc I'd be very grateful

Latin Quarter Christmas party  & special salsa classes on Tue 15th Dec , at The Chamber suite- suitable for all levels & total beginners

 

 Instead of the usual 3 classes run we will be having these 2 :

7pm -7.45pm-  Christmas Rueda class - this class will be a chance for the usual tue beginners class & any beginners/ people who dance CB style salsa to have a taste of the Cuban circle dance where you change partners.  The class will also be suitable for the normal attenders too, we will have 2 circles, something for everyone.  £2 for this class.
 
7.45-8.45pm-  Special workshop- Shines & Styling for men & women- a chance to learn some sexy moves / fancy footwork/ body movement to dazzle your dance partner in Salsa.  Learn when to do shines, how to do them with style & rhythm.  Class suitable for all levels, beginners welcome.  £3 for this class.

 

  Latin Quarter starts after classes at 8.45pm, with a short salsa taster at 9pm if anyone new comes after classes.  Evening will be on till late with some fun activities, a raffle and Peruvian jewellry /gifts will also be on sale, along with the Xmas vouchers for the Azul Wasi project.  Dress festive ?

 

Money raised at Latin Quarter goes to the street children project near Cusco, Peru.

Directions :- It's behind the Mc Manus galleries in the town centre, on Right hand corner, the door should be open, come in & upstairs to the Suite.
