NEW classes & new Latin Quarter events

NEW dance classes

 LAST chance to join NEW Bachata beginners progressive class on tue 9th Feb ( latin dance from Dominican Republic)- Tuesdays 6.30-7.15pm £3, at The Chamber Suite, Panmure St, Dundee dd1 1ed.

 

Last week to join Beginners salsa class this thursday at MONO, Dundee Uni Union building ( downstairs), Balfour st.  £22 ( stu), £25 ( non stu) for rest of 8 week block of classes- Money goes to street children in Peru.

 

 

Also up & coming LATIN QUARTER events : 

 

 If you're new to salsa in Dundee, Latin Quarter is an established social latin dance night run to raise money for a street children project near Cusco in PERU.  Our new regular venue is The Chamber Suite.

 

Friday 19th February- Latin Quarter with an Italian Twist !  @ Club Romano on West Wynd, near Dilsee  Indian restauarant , Perth Rd, Dundee- Usual Latin Quarter starts at 9pm - midnight, £5/ £4 ( stu), pay on door.  Beginners salsa taster class @9pm. However for a change we're having an Italian buffet at 7.30pm provided by Cafe Sicilia.  Tickets for buffet & LQ together will be on sale soon, price to be confirmed, but likely to be £10/£12 ish.  Buffet is ticket only though so we know how much food to cater for.  So email sara...@gmail.com for tickets in advance.  This evening will raise money for 2 projects Azul Wasi, street children project near Cusco, Peru and  another project visited last year The Good Hope Orpanage & School, Arusha, Tanzania as a one off donation.

 

Saturday 13th March -  LIVE Cuban Son Band Son al Son debuts in Dundee @ The Chamber Suite, Panmure St,  Dundee DD1 1ED .  8.30-1am, beginners class @ 8.30pm.  Tickets £10 on sale now from Grouchos, Dundee or via salsa classes, or email sara...@gmail.com.  Also pay on dooravailability permitting.  Tables for 8 to 12 can be reserved for this event in advance for pre purchased tickets. There will also be a raffle at this event.  Money raised goes to the Azul Wasi street children project in Peru via Peace Child International.
