BRIANA HILL

For those of you who know Briana Hill, I ran into Briana today in the hallowed halls of PLD.  Her last two fingers of her hand are taped.  The good new is, she did not break her hand as was earlier thought.  I have a class with Coach Jenni Morgan and asked her about Briana and she said the doctors had orginially thought that she had broken the bone on the hand of the pinky and orginially said she would be out the entire season.  As it turns out her injury is only a "crack" (whatever that means) and she can play.  She has to be taped for a couple weeks but can continue to play.  Coach Morgan plans to use her sparingly, but Briana is an awesome player and they do go up against HC tonight, so I do imagine her getting playing time.  I can't wait to hear all about it tomorrow at school.  At any rate, I know that many of you know Briana and have been concerned.  Thought I'd send an update.

 

BTW, all teams were awesome last night!  I was so proud to be a CREEKER!!!!!  I thought I was going to have to give the "ROVER"  Creeky Award (roll over and play dead) for all the teams, but you were all tremendous!  Congrats to the Freshmen for that AWESOME WIN in three.  JV was just as AWESOME to go to three!  AND VARSITY!!!!!!!  I count last night a win!!!!!!You actually played as a team.  And if you didn't know, there were THREE, count them, 3!, college coaches there scouting our seniors!   You couldn't have picked a better time to pull together and play as a team!  I was so proud!!!  All teams get the "THE GIRLS ARE BACK IN TOWN"!!!!! CREEKY AWARD.  Actually, doesnt the song go the boys?, but what do they know!!!!!  CREEKER VOLLEYBALL GIRLS ARE BACK!!!!!  WATCH OUT FLOWER, there will be NO dance for you!!!!!!
