Transition to a new season and a new group

Last season, Coach Paul drew a very hard line indicating that she did not want to communicate directly with the parents so that she could accelerate the team formation by communicating only with the players. Barb Wheeler has discussed this with Coach Paul and she still wants to maintain the Coach-Player communication during practice as the primary communication path but agreed that adding all of the coaches to the 2007-2008 group would be an additional convenience and a last minute backup communication if necessary.
Here are the members of the 2006-2007 Parent Group that I will add to the new group "TCVB-Boosters-2007" in the next few days unless I hear an objection. Of course, any of us may drop off the list if our daughters don't make the teams. Additionally, if any of you know some of the parents of the incoming freshmen, it might be nice to include them. Have them send me email directly at kevi...@gmail.com and I will add them to the list.

Thanks Kevin. I think that by adding Coach Paul to the google list will enhance communicaiton with everyone. She will be able to get her information out directly to all of us without going through a middle man. I think it wise that she uses this format instead of a parent to communicate. Once teams are established, I think she would prefer to implement the team list and communicate through her players any information that may be pertienent. She wants to instill ownership of their club in them, as well as responsibility in communication. They do this very well in the classroom, she feels it is time for the girls to take ownership of their club. Kudos, Kevin, for takin action on this so that we can have all the information that Coach Paul needs the girls to have prior to tryouts. YAY!!!! This is definitely a positive step forward!
