Question regarding Trophy Case

Friends -

 

The suggestion has come up that we might want to consider holding off on having a trophy case built.  It is possible that we could share with another team, namely the girls basketball team.  We're not sure they have room to share but it is a possibility that we could explore.  And if not the girls basketball team, then maybe another team would let us use part of theirs. 

 

Please let me know your wishes.  Spring for one of our own?  Share with another team?

 

Kevin Brown's carpenter friend will be visiting the school later in the week to take measurements and pictures so he can submit a quote to us.  It'll be interesting to see what he comes up with.

My vote is to continue to explore the cost of the trophy case.  Volleyball is alive and well at TC!  There is hope for the future of this sport at TC and great anticipation that a trophy case will be brimming with shiny hardware soon!

Cary,
This is only my thoughts, but here it is...
I agree completely that giving money to the girls basketball team is the right thing to do. Not only are we helping the team, but we are demonstrating to our girls the important things in life, which, believe it or not, is not just volleyball. Hopefully, they will see the importance in our gesture.
Now that I have commented on the importance of being generous, I switch gears in regards to the trophy case. If we can financially take on the project, we should have our own case. I think we have one of the best volleyball programs and boosters in the area and we should be very proud of that. We could not say that without the hard work of the previous teams who forged the way for future success.
When I get old(a very long time from now,HaHa) I want to bring my grandchildren to their Mom's school and say, "Look at the wonderful volleyball program your Mom was a part of!"

Hello to all.

 

We vote to build our own case.  If Coach Ruddell is willing to give us space, we should take it now.  Financially, the booster club is very solid, so again, now is the time.  Let's think long term and plan for all the volleyball trophies in the future.

Hi Cary…

 

Just got through all the e-mails this morning.  I agree with everyone else that the donation to the TC Basketball team is a great gesture and  am sure it will be greatly appreciated.  On the volleyball case,  whatever works best for the team right now is fine with me.  Whatever the decision and whenever, it will be nice to see a display of what the TC Volleyball Team has accomplished in the past, as well as the future.

 

Hope all is well with you and thanks so much for your continued dedication to the team….
