I am SO glad that Rebecca Van Meter feels it will not be an intrusion. So the girls will be EATING cake with the Lafayette girls? Okay!?!?!??!?! . . . well . . I'll go ahead and get roses (as promised! No need for re-imbursement! Our contribution!) for all the Lafayette varsity girls. Hannah and Abi will make cards for them from the team. We know them all so Hannah and Abi will be on that tomorrow! Hannah and Abi will bring them Tuesday. I, regrettably, will not be there. But then again, it is about the Lafayette girls and not us! YAY!!!!! for Lafayette!!!! I'm glad it works! Oh, Megan Paul called me tonight. I'm really not sure whether she will be able to make it or not, since she has to work until six. I'm sure that someone will convey that to Lafayette. We surely wouldn't want them to think that she just didn't care to show up! After all that she has had to endure this season, I'm sure that none of us would want to add anything else to that plate!

Subject: Lafayette cake

Hello All -

I just spoke with Rebecca Van Meter and she thought that Tuesday, the 24th would be the best day for us to come and bring cake to their team. She was elated that we wanted to do it. They practice from 4:00 to 5:30 so she thought if we got there around 5:20, the timing would be perfect. Since it will be at the end of their practice, our presence should not pose much of an intrusion. All are welcome!

I'll get the cake and some drinks - if anyone needs a ride, please let me know.

This shouldn't take long - 30 minutes or so.
