Did you know that Industry Standard expiration date on Ballistic Vests is 5 Years after Date of Purchase?
Is your ballistic vest SAFE to use?

Cary,
As far as the professional woodworker/cabinet maker, I have a good friend that does just this and honestly, his rates are too low for the quality of work that he does, so you wont be alarmed there! J.
His name is Bob Springer and his web site is:
Bob is a retired engineer from IBM and we used to work together making wall units and other custom cabinetry and he still does it out of his garage. Give him a call, you won’t regret the price or the craftsmanship.

I hope everyone is doing well and getting geared up for the 2007 season of the Tates Creek Volleyball team.
It has been some time since I last messaged you and thought I'd pass along a couple of items for your consideration and feedback.
This has been brought up before but I didn't get enough replys to act on. The Boosters are doing well, financially speaking. We aren't exactly rolling in the Benjamins but we are doing well and will most likely keep on gaining ground. Thanks mostly to our Kroger card fundraiser - the returns just keep coming in. We have been asked to give a one-time financial gift to the Tates Creek Girl's Basketball team. They are truly struggling. I don't know all of the in's and out's of their organization but I think they could really use the help. And we can afford to give it. I am asking for permission to donate $500 to them. We'd hoped to give more - but lets start with that. Let me know your thoughts.
And now for the trophy case. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the dilema, here it is. We need a trophy case like the one the swim team has in the lobby of the gym. Fayette County Public schools has a contract with one vendor to build all trophy cases for all high schools. (I think it is actually a man and not a large company) The trophy cases are all alike. He built the cases years ago and had since dropped out of sight. Joe Ruddell has looked for him, googled him and done everything but hire a private investigator to find him - no go. He gave me permission to find someone to build one for us but it must look exactly like the others. (same wood stain, same design, same everything) I have asked around but just haven't gotten any viable leads. Professional woodworkers want an arm and a leg. We can't afford that. Do any of you know of someone who might want to build us a nice trophy case that matches the others?
I look forward to seeing you this summer and laying the ground work for a successful 2007 season.
