Past Parents of the Tates Creek Volleyball Players, ( otherwise known as boosters )

This year Gordon Summers has reserved a golf course such that the annual event can serve as an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and teammates for an enjoyably paced round of golf or two.   This year represents the 5th anniversary of the first final four team from Lexington (2005 Tates Creek team) and we would love for some of the current players to be able to catch some of the excitement and understand the significance of a such a great achievement for the Tates Creek Volleyball program.

Many great coaches look back at the programs that they have been a part of with the recognition that the most difficult times build the greatest character and that the highlights and championships are less significant than the hard work that goes into developing players of the game year after year.   The results of all that hard work goes way beyond volleyball.

As parents of volleyball players, we are all grateful for our daughter's opportunity to learn the game and develop strong friendships with teammates.  This coming event represents an opportunity to see old friends and to support the new team.  If you are interested in fielding a 2 or 4 person team, please check out the following link and contact Gordon Summers as soon as possible so we can prepare for the crowds.
