Disappointing Community

I created another post asking for help, and got crickets. Along with the main question, it contained a very simple one. Both were completely ignored. It''s very disappointing.

I've seen many other posts that get ignored, even asking the most simple question, like "please accept my joining request". I've just joined, so maybe I can help with them from now on, but considering Tasker has a steep learning curve for new users, can't we do more as a community? Sometimes all it needs is a little feedback, direction, or simply to bounce ideas of someone, to help a new user find a solution. 

Note that I'm certainly not suggesting that the main dev do more - he's got enough to do. However, for anyone else, before asking a question, see if there are any questions you can answer first.
