When Tasker or one of your plugins accesses sensitive user data (e.g., notifications, SMS, location, clipboard, etc.), is this data accessible only within the app, or can other apps on the device (malicious or otherwise) potentially access that data as well?
In other words:
Are there protections in place to prevent other third-party apps from reading the data that Tasker or your plugins collect and process?
Could a malicious app on the same device abuse Tasker or your plugins (e.g. via intents, exported components, shared logs, etc.) to access user data indirectly?
This is important for users (like me) who are highly concerned about privacy and want to ensure that granting permissions to Tasker or AutoApps won’t unintentionally expose data to other apps on the device.
Thank you so much Joaomgcd.
