Hello, is there anyway to "resize the widget" on the homescreen? It looks so ugly at the moment. Look:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18267742/Tasker/Screenshot_2013-08-20-15-27-14.png -- Top Right corner, the Beach OFF. The Icon is miles away frmo the Label...and im using a Built In Tasker Icon...

Can you fix this or is there anyway to make it look like the other widgets I have on the homescreen? Square like and near the nabel itself?

Tahnks:)

Maybe using zoom and calibrating the widget for your device using the 1x1 and 2x2 widget creation calibration tool.

From the looks of it your using the stock launcher which allows hardly any customization, I suggest you get a new Launcher that will let you resize widgets and icons.

He does have a launcher that lets you resize widgets, what he's talking about is that fact that when you DO have a launcher that lets you resize widgets it doesn't resize the icon. So you have the label at the bottom of the area you have the widget over but the icon stays the same size and you just have a tiny icon with a bunch of empty space.

Like the attached screen shot where I have "Display All Lists" widget resized to cover a 2x2 area. the icon stays the same size and centers itself at the top of the widget area. The label centers itself at the bottom of the 2x2 area and you have a bunch of empty space in between...

Ar i see my bad, Damn ya could fit a bus in that gap, So would a launcher that allows charging the margin between the icon and the icon label fix that problem? Because I use Lightning launcher and it has that option, awell as options to mask, inner scale, outerscale and reposition both the icon and label.

Yeap tahts it. I'm using a stock samsung laucnher frmo SGSIII, and it allows to resize. Problem is Tasker seems to put the icon way up the space desgined for the zidget, and the lable down to the bottom of it...:/

Lightning Launcher is WAY more customizable than most launchers, it lacks some features that make it unusable for me though.

Like creating a Dock is fairly straight forward just lock a row of icons, however you are limited to using the same grid for your dock as you are for your home screen. So if you want your desktop to be 4 icons wide but the dock to be 5 wide (like a standard launcher) you HAVE to ditch the grid and go fully customized sizes. Major issue there is that you can't copy the sizes from one icon to the next. so you may want a customized width/height for your dock but you can't standardize that width/height to all icons on the row.

Finally just ditched it for GO Launcher X which is what is used in my screenshot.

That's likely because your homescreen is set to a certain number of columns/rows so your widgets just sticking to that grid because the launcher tells it to. But if you were to remove the grid then your icon could be placed freely which might solve the problem.

I understand that other launchers do this and that, but I want to stay at my own. I like it :) Just wondering why other apps widgets stay all the same and only Tasker ones are like this and if there is any way to change it or Pent can "fix(?)" it :)

Never noticed that I prefer the free grid tho i hate being told what to do with my stuff, You make a good point tho should mention that to the dev.

You said you wanted to make the tasker widget look like the other widgets on your home screen, Correct me if im wrong but those other widgets aren't widgets there just shortcuts to apps.(Icons).
