Notification Access Settings

Sound Settings

... that navigates to ...

Settings/Sound & notification

Is it possible to have one added called ...

Notification Access Settings

... that would navigate to ...

Settings/Sound & notification/Notification access in Android 5

... and ...

Settings/Sound & notification/Notification access in Android 6

... and ...

Settings/Apps/cog wheel/Special access/Notification access in Android 7

Is it possible to have a general capability settings action where a path to the the setting sould be specified?

(I use the settings to help new users configure their installation of a kid.  I display the settings page with a dialog box of instructions over it.)

You can probably open all them with the send intent action. Try this for Notification access put this in the action field.

android.settings.ACTION_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SETTINGS

Set the target to Activity

I just tried it with the two fields you identified.

It did not throw an error.  Nothing is displayed.  I don't know how to "tie it in" to anything.

:/ it should work you sure you set it up right? I don't know what you mean by you don't know how to tie it in to anything you can fire an intent from anything a button, tap on a menu item pretty much any object you can set an action on really.

It does not report an error or display a settings page.

According to your export your intent only has the Constant value set it should be android.settings.ACTION_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SETTINGS try setting cat to default azwell.

Wow.

When you fixed my typo it does EXACTLY what I need.

I verified it on 4.4.4, 6.0.1, and 7.0.

I verified it in a kid with minimum level 14.
