Use Tasker to add caller ID block (*67) to any out going call

I used to use the now dead app Prefixer to add *67 to any outgoing number I dialed when Prefixer was toggled on.  I did this because my carrier doesn't have a toggle on the phone to show or block outgoing caller ID.  After years of installing the long dead Prefixer with the saved APK, it no longer works on my newest phone: Samsung s25, One UI 8.0, Android 16.

I'm not new to Tasker, but I'm in no way an expert.  With this forum I can usually use helpful posts to manage to do something without always understanding what Kim doing (I'm a great technical mimic 😆.)  I've found various things here, and have been trying for days, but with no luck.

For clarity, what I want to do is place a call to any contact or phone number, and have Tasker and the prefix *67 to the number when the phone dials it.

No help on this? João, is it possible to have tasker add a suffix to the phone number on all outgoing calls?

One logic is to use the calloffhook event. When you place a call this event is triggered. so the task linked can check whether prefix *67 exists, if not end the call and add the prefix and redial can be done automatically in the task itself.

Thanks for the suggestion on the logic, SDS.  I'll try to work out the steps from there when I have the time -- it will take me a bit because I don't have any experience with the particular actions that would be involved.
