TaoNotes 2007 v4.03

We updated TaoNotes 2007 to version 4.03, fixing some bugs.

1)       there was lost code for commands like View-Show->Show Everything, View-Show->Show Attached Items, View-Show->Hoist-Dehoist Items

 

and we added one new command here - View-Show->Show Attached for Selected (View-Show->Show Attached Items – works only for one first selected/focused item) – this command applies to all selected items…

 

2)       In Item Edit window on saving item with type Google search it was forcing to type URL if you entered something like http://www.taonotes.com to search… fixed.

 

3)       other small bugs…

 

   And the question for advanced users (especially who used Ecco Pro application in the past)… It’s about contexts (or projects, etc). The application logic do following thing on double-clicking Context in the list of contexts (@Calls, for example) – it filters outline selecting items with @Calls context defined + shows PARENT ITEMS VISIBLE to help user to understand where these items belong better…. BUT… It could be another variant: to make visible items with proper context + CHILDREN ITEMS visible (though they do not have @... context defined)…. It seems Ecco Pro for instance to so….

 

   What are your thoughts about it?
