Hi dear users!

We’re glad to inform you that TaoNotes 2007 (version 4.00) is released already. It includes multiple improvements that makes work more comfortable.

The main new features are:

1)       new internal clipboard support (the user can seamlessly copy/paste from/to different notebooks)

2)       collapsible panels for Contexts, Projects, Keywords, Channels (were outputs) and Calendar (much better way to handle these panels than overlapping tabs)

3)       new toolbar with drop-down menus embedded (text captions are removed, were pretty ugly on LCD monitors with ClearType turned ON)

4)       improved SideNotes for rapid entry (SideNotes are automatically cleared on new item entry)

5)       Live Search is automatically cleared on application exit

6)       Updated command for jumping to Next Action

7)       Completed item does not cause jumping to Next Action by default (depends on option)

8)       Drag and Drop to Tags now cause moving items not copying (!)

9)       New command to duplicating the whole outline in the Tags view (Navigate->Get view->Whole Tree Tags)

10)   Save button placed at the top of the form in the Item Edit window

11)   Tags Priority Slider is minimized and placed at top of Tags View window

12)   History Tab, Clips Tab are abandoned

Plus many small improvements and bug fixes (such as reassigning date on item coping, etc)

In general, application has much better usability + improved possibilities. Help Manual is not ready, but due to application is ready, we are starting to write it right now.

NOTE: the distribution link below and file distribution on out site are just DEMOS. The registered users will get the proper links for downloading by request/automatically soon.

   Have Fun.
