Good news: Long weekend! Yay!
Bad news: Bad weather! Oh no!
So I've got a long weekend here, and plan to either do area rides Saturday and Monday (100k-200k), or possibly some epic adventure/ road trip all three days. (But, not up for a 300k at the moment, either!)
Meanwhile, the forecast in our old stomping ground of Italy shows "Scattered Thunderstorms" all three days, with 59% chance of rain Saturday and Sunday, 46% Monday.
Checking last night, I found this pattern covers a wide swath of our riding area. The best forecasts were to the west and northwest, and the farther you go, the better it gets. So, for example, Lubbock was reasonably decent. But a long way out there, too.
If any of y'all are interested in climbing out of the La-Z-Boy and riding a bike, let me know, and I'll keep you posted on what I come up with. Or if you have ideas, let me know. As the weekend gets closer, those forecasts may get more specific, which will help.
