Riding Saturday, 8/22/26

I try to post my weekend rides, but have been out the last two Saturdays for funerals.  So don't anybody else die, now, and I'll try to get some riding done.

First off, there's a 150k Populaire out of Salado on Saturday.  I thought I saw a post from Josh about that, but can't find it anywhere now.  But if interested, contact Josh or Gary Kanaby for details on it.

Meanwhile,  I've got a 200k perm route in for approval out of West, Texas.  I don't know current backlog/ lead time for approval.  But if it gets approved by the weekend, I'll try to do it.  Route is here, if you're interested:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/56669088.  If it's not approved, I may try Midnight Rider or some other 200k route.

The current forecast for West is a high of 104, which is not good, but hopefully, that'll back off some.  If it stays super hot, I might consider some alternate plans.

Anyway, if y'all are interested, let me know and I'll keep you posted on what I wind up with.  Or if you have other ideas/plans, let me know there, also.
