Hi everyone,

I created a new 100k perm route similar to Country Roads Ramble that uses backroads in Johnson County near Burleson and Joshua (it's all paved no gravel). The route starts at Connect Church on Gertie Barret Rd in Mansfield, close to 287 Business. This route uses low traffic roads / county roads, and I ride these frequently. My favorite part of this route is Cross Timber Road in Joshua which is very quiet with no traffic. There are several stores along the route for resupply. I am planning on riding this route soon, I have not decided on the date yet.

Perm route #05744

If anyone is interested in riding this route let me know.

Take care,

Peter

Thanks Peter!  Nice-looking route!  I'm familiar with many of those roads, and have used them on Perm routes myself.  Plenty of new roads that I haven't ridden as well!

Hi Dan,

Yes, I plan to submit this as a Pop so that we can ride it as a club ride.

Take care,

Peter

Peter, if you’d like to also make this a Pop, we can calendar it next year and ride it as a club ride.

Hi everyone,

I rode this route today it was great! Beautiful backroads with almost no traffic. My radar detected 70 cars in 63 miles which is about 1 car per mile (in comparison most routes have 2-3 cars per mile or more).

Merry Christmas!

Peter
