Sasquatch Sashay, October 25, 2025

I'm hoping to ride the Sasquatch Sashay this Saturday.

This is a new RUSA perm route, 203k just approved about an hour ago.

It is Gary's Elm Mott Trot but with the start moved to Grandview.

This avoids the trafficky FM 157 south of Venus and avoids the chipseal in that area (which has smoothed out through the years, anyway).   Once you hit the intersection outside Maypearl, it's the Trot all the way to Elm Mott.

The forecast is showing less than stellar weather, specifically rain in the morning.  If that clears up, or is pre-dawn, great.  If it's riding-in-the-rain, routes may change to dodge it.
