Hey folks,
I'm planning on another bicycle tour this fall. Tentatively, October 18th to 26th. (We've got one "hot job" in limbo at work, and if that pops up, I'll push those dates out a month.)
Tentative plan: Go ride a big loop starting in Clarendon, Texas; roughly 35-65 miles a day, motel-to-motel, as part of my ride-in-every-county plan. Mostly paved, maybe a few gravel roads sprinkled here or there. See cotton fields and cow pastures, study water towers, read historical markers, etc.
Plans can change basically until the time I load the car, and I'm not afraid to change up to dodge excessive wind, cold, rain, or dust.
If any of y'all want to ride on roads you've never ridden before, and see countryside you've never seen before, come join me.
If you've got other ideas of fun places to ride (preferably within driving range), I'm open.
