September 20, 27th Brevets

We're looking at some options for September 20th and 27th brevets.

One is the Kiamichi 200k.  This starts in Antlers, OK, and makes a loop including a good climb on the Indian Highway.  In the past, we've done a 400k on the Talimena Scenic Route,  which included part of this route.  I've ridden it before, but it would be a "new" route for a number of y'all.

One is the Velma and Jo 200k.  This starts in St Jo, Texas, and goes north to Velma, OK.  This is a new route that nobody's ridden.  Nearest normal motels are probably in Gainesville, Texas.

One is the Tex and Louise 200k.  This starts in Gilmer, Texas, goes to Vivian, Louisiana, and is just the eastern half of the Fleas and Trees 400k.  I've ridden it as a perm, nobody's ridden the brevet version.  There are okay motels in Gilmer.

The first two options get you Oklahoma as a state, the last picks up Louisiana, and all are scout points for several people.  All are kind of far out, so they involve more driving than running down to Italy in the morning.

Anyway, if you are interested in riding any or all of these, please let Dan know, also let him know when you're available for what.  We're swapping things around and trying to get best options for new routes for the most people.
