I see where some of y'all have ride plans already.
Meanwhile, I'm looking at the weather forecast.
Saturday- cold (brrr) and winds from North at 10-20 mph.
Sunday- cold (brrr) and winds from Southwest at 10-20 mph.
So- one idea, is ride south one way on Saturday with tailwind, return on Sunday with quartering tailwind.
We have various routes available for this. Shorter is probably better, which would be Groesbeck Getaway. Jewett Doit is a longer option. Half-A-Huff or Long And Winding Road/Get Back are still longer options.
There are good motels in both Groesbeck and Jewett (and Franklin and Buffalo), as well as adequate grocery stores, etc.
Groesbeck Getaway only has controls at the start/stop, so there are different routing options if you get tired of the same ol' same ol'.
Any interest out there?
For the 100k option, I'd be looking at a late-morning start due to temperature.
