Hi all,
Dan got the ball rolling and here are details so far for this weekend. May as well get your R12 ride done before weather starts getting in the way :) Ol' faithful & challenging routes out west, but weather looks good for avoiding our traditional death marches in the heat...and thus this old brevet card!
217km Interested riders:
Pam
Joe
Nick
Amy - finishing her 2025 Khound!
Stephen
Dan
Ride Details:
LSR Membership Required - If you're just joining, your membership will be good through Dec 2026!
Weather: Latest from Epic Ride Weather below. Will be cold at the start, especially with a bit of downhill the first 23miles.
Sun: Sunrise 7:49am, so we'll have 10h51min of daylight. Please bring full night gear, even the 217k.
Services: Please look over the cue sheet. Stores are well-placed, but the stretch from 23>61 has some challenging stretches. Be prepared to carry what you need. And....as you leave Peadenville for the finish, keep in mind, it's almost exactly marathon distance. I can't help but think about running that last stretch. Sheeee-it!
Cue Sheets - attached

Note the weather forecast has gotten a little chillier at the start and a bit more NE wind.
