West Texas Showdown / Slowdown at Big Bend

Hi everyone,

I am excited to participate in the inaugural West Texas Showdown this weekend! I will be riding the 293-mile Slowdown route. This self-supported event takes place at Big Bend Ranch State Park and is about 50% rugged jeep road / singletrack and 50% pavement. I will be riding my mountain bike due to technical terrain. We start on Saturday; my goal is to finish in 3 days.
