Its Christmas Party Time!
Please plan on attending the annual LSR Christmas Party –
Sunday December 6th at 5:00pm.
We have a new location for this year:
Outlaws BBQ & Grill ---- 2334 S Belt Line Rd, Grand Prairie, TX

The buffet will be a traditional BBQ meal served 6:30 to 7:00 in the private party room, includes beef, chicken, potato salad, and pinto beans.
$13.50 per person will cover meal & drink & tip. Bar available.
Please RSVP so we can make final plans. Feel free to bring your family or loved ones, the more the merrier.
Please come prepared to pay with an old fashioned paper check, yes get out that old box and dust it off and dig one out. Leave the “pay to” blank and make it for $13.50 times your people. Please do not plan on paying with a debit card or credit card or even cash, please bring a check.
Look forward to seeing everyone, don’t miss this annual LSR event, a chance to see friends in real street cloths, enjoy the annual awards, and laugh at everyone!

get reimbursed by each person at the door, the checks give us a paper trail
to see who has paid and who has not. We do not want to exclude any one, so
if you do not own a paper check we will try to figure it out, without having
to post someone at the front door collecting cash and putting it in an
envelope with that person's name on it. Would love to hear another
suggestion, just don't want to lose track or lose money. DD

Rule #1 - This is for rando's and non-rando's, so yep....your date should play too!
Rule #2 - Shop at home and bring a gift you've already got. It can be new or like new. Maybe you've got some arm warmers that don't fit, a candy dish that needs a new home, maybe a pair of cycling socks you got 2 yrs ago that you can't wear because the green wings clash with your pink tutu, maybe your battery-operated toy (careful now!!) needs a new owner or who knows....maybe that plate of brownies you made the day before would be better off in someone ELSE'S kitchen? (get the idea?)
Rule #3 - Gotta wrap it. (can't see what it is or it spoils the surprise)
Rule #4 - Get ready to smile cuz here's how it works. Gifts will be in a pile and we'll draw numbers. A certain number gets to go pick a gift, unwrap & display it. Next number gets to get a new gift OR can steal the first gift! (A gift can only be stolen twice, so 3rd person gets to keep it if it's THAT yummy!) Anyone that gets a gift stolen gets to go back and pick a new one....or steal from somebody else.
Rule #5 - Don't get left out - Get to shopping at home!

As many of you know, I write a blog on crazyguyonabike.com. Recently, I posted a picture of the dangerous cycling route passing through UTA on Center Street in Arlington. I also wrote about Todd Martin and Mike & Meridith. Several cyclists (that I've never met) have responded and shared our grief. Today, one of those riders sent me this link.
