I was driving to the supermarket today and happened to look at the sign at the
gas station and saw the price had climbed to $4.49 a gallon. I looked across
the street and it was the same. I had read how the average price of a gallon of
gas was climbing steadily but gas in Ohio is generally below the national
average. I couldn't believe it was up to $4.49 a gallon. It makes me glad I bought
a Chevy Spark a year and a half ago.
As for my trip to the supermarket, it used to be extremely rare I would pay more
than $100 for a week's worth of groceries. Now it is rare that I don't.
