It seems a real possibility if they don't awaken from their wokeness. Most
Americans, even most Democrats, don't buy the nonsense they are espousing.
Yet for some reason, they continue to allow the crazy far left to drive their bus.
They are going to be handed a defeat of biblical proportions and everybody
can see it coming. The question will be whether the moderates will take back
control of their party or will they continue to let the far left dictate the direction
of the party which will cause the Democrats to sink into irrelevancy. It took only
a few election cycles for the Republicans to replace the Whig party as the
alternative to the Democrats. I could see the same thing happening to the
Democrats if they don't change their ways.

The Democrat Party is headed the way of the DoDo bird. There comes a
point where the adults stand up and tell the children to shut their
mouths. Democrats failed to do that. All it would have taken was a few
timely STFU and woke would never happen.

Wishful thinking.

It cannot survive in its present form. It must adapt of die. It's political Darwinism.

I could see a situation in which never Trump Republicans and centrist Democrats form a
middle of the road party. They need someone to lead that effort. It would not surprise me
if Tulsi Gabbard were that person. She seems to be positioning herself for a third party run
in 2024. That would make it interesting. If that party could win even a few states, it's
possible no party would win a majority in the electoral college which would mean the House
would pick the president and the Senate would choose the Veep. Most likely, that would mean
a Republican in both offices.
